General, gabardine fabric, one piece cockade and yellow cap cord. Purple piping, purple band, two grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 58 and dated "D" (1990). Black sweat band. VEB 1856. (S3117/3i, o-r). 

Lieutenant to Colonel, gabardine fabric, single piece cockade and silver cap cord. Purple piping, two grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 57 and dated "D" (1990). Black sweat band. VEB 1856.(S3117/3i, o-r).

Side cap. Gabardine fabric, circular textile cockade, purple piping. Size 55, date not readable. VEB 1856.

Freiwillige Feuerwehr.

The cockade and sweat sheild are missing. Gabardine fabric and black right-tilt cap cord, purple piping. The hat dates from the early sixty's. Brown sweat band. Fiber visor (Visor type "pre-65").

Skimuetze. Older style "Bullseye" cockade from 1954-1961. Size ?, date ? Made by Roland Mutze.

Ranggruppe 2, Unterassistent to Hauptsekretar. Blue fabric, orange piping. Single piece silver cockade introduced around 1961. Silver and blue cap cord. The visor is fiber, plastic visors were first used in 1965. Size 55, no date. Brown sweat band. Made by Emhage Berlin.
