Federal Republic of Germany.
Post War M53 with vents. Manufactured by Linnemann & Schnetzer. Used by the Bundesgrenzschutz, BGS, Federal Border Guard, who were responsible for the inner German boarder prior to German reunification. This variety of M53 has vent holes and lacks the three liner pin holes, the liner is attached to the screw mount on the dome of the helmet.

WWII German Quist M40, Post War Modified shell. Used by the Polizeireserve Niedersachsen/Volunteer reserve police of Lower Saxony after 1949. The shells original paint was striped, the liner pin holes welded closed and the weld then ground smooth. Two small rivets are used to attach the chinstrap bales. On the inside dome of the helmet a screw mount was added for the attachment of the liner. The majority of these helmet have been destroyed, only a few remain. Post War 'M40 style' helmet  manufactured  by Quist. Used by the Bereitschaftspolizei of Baden-Wurtemberg. A single water transfer decal with the Baden-Wurtemberg coat of arms is on the left side of the helmet. The post war Quist helmets are stamped 'Q64" and lack any batch number on the rear skirt of the helmet. Purchased from eBay.

This variety is ventless and lacks the three liner pin holes, the liner is attached to the screw mount on the dome of the helmet. West German Fire Helmets.

M34's used post war.
"DRP Thale A" helmet with original EREL DRGM (Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster) liner and chin strap. The original WWII black paint and decals are nicely protected for all eternity under a coat of post war applied glossy black paint. A strip of reflective tape adds an extra layer of protection to the Nazi decals hidden underneath. The police Eagle decal is 90+% and the Party Decal is 70+%. Yes, this is my favorite M34 in my collection :)
